The murder at Dam Square is based on a real crime that took place in the 20th Century.

As a detective, you have to find out who brutally murdered Ankie Rood.
​
As the story unfolds, you interact with and experience the wonderful city of Amsterdam while also solving entertaining and challenging tasks along the way.
By the end you will learn the solution to the true crime mystery that inspired this game.

But before that you have to decide: Who do you believe the killer is and what evidence supports your decision?
In the envelope you will find everything you need for the investigation. The more points you earn along the way, the more time you get in the end to discuss who you think is behind the murder.

How does it work?
Go to the pick up point, which is a short walk from the starting point, to collect your mystery. Begin the game any time you want at the starting point indicated on the envelope.

The mystery walk
You are an investigator in the 20th century. As the story unfolds you get to experience Amsterdam whilst solving exciting tasks that hopefully lead you to the correct solution to the mystery.
The investigation is being carried out in Amsterdam city centre.
In the end you get the result, but before that you have to decide for yourself: Who do you believe is the murderer and what evidence backs up your choice?
In the envelope you will find everything that you will need during the investigation.
The more points you earn along the way, the more time you will eventually have to discuss who you think committed the murder and what possible evidence backs up your choice.
